Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale (“Terms”) govern the sale of products and services by RA Boards (“Supplier/Seller”) to the buyer (“Customer”). By accepting a quote or placing an order, the Customer agrees to be bound by these Terms.

  1. Payment Terms
  • All orders are required to be paid in full at the time the quote is accepted, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by the Seller.
  • Payment can be made via specify payment methods: e.g., credit card, electronic funds transfer or cash. However, the company would prefer EFT.
  1. Lead Time
  • The lead time for all orders is five (5) business days from the date of order confirmation, excluding weekends and public holidays.
  • Lead time is subject to change depending on product availability or other factors. If there is any delay, the Seller will notify the Customer promptly.
  • Work will commence immediately once material is obtained from the supplier and the agreed installation period will commence. 
  1. Cancellation Policy
  • Orders that are cancelled after confirmation will incur a handling fee of 10% which will be deducted from any refundable amount.
  • Cancellations must be made in writing and received by the Seller before the order is processed.
  1. Orders on Hold
  • Orders that are placed on hold will commence with the lead time as noted above, starting once the hold is lifted and processing begins.
  • The Customer will be notified when the order is ready to proceed.
  1. Order Changes
  • Any changes to an order, including modifications to quantities, product specifications, or delivery instructions, must be submitted in writing within 24 hours of placing the order.
  • Changes requested after 24 hours may not be possible and may incur additional fees.
  1. General Terms
  • The Seller reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Customers will be notified of any material changes.
  • These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa].

By accepting a quote or placing an order with RA Boards, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms of Sale.

  1. Delivery and Shipping
  • All deliveries will be made to the address specified in the order. The Seller is not responsible for any delays caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery addresses provided by the Customer.
  • Shipping charges will be calculated at the time of order and are the responsibility of the Customer unless otherwise specified.
  • The Seller is not liable for any loss or damage to goods once they are in transit with the carrier.
  1. Risk of Loss
  • Risk of loss or damage to products transfers to the Customer upon delivery to the Customer or their designated representative.
  • It is the Customer’s responsibility to inspect the goods upon receipt and notify the Seller of any discrepancies or damages within 24 hours from delivery.
  1. Returns and Refunds
  • Returns will only be accepted within two workdays from the date of delivery, and the product must be in its original condition and packaging.
  • Refunds will be processed upon return of the product and subject to a restocking fee of 10%, unless the return is due to an error on the part of the Seller.
  • Custom or specially ordered items are non-returnable and non-refundable.
  1. Force Majeure
  • The Seller shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, government actions, natural disasters, strikes, or supply chain disruptions.
  1. Intellectual Property
  • All intellectual property, including but not limited to trademarks, designs, and proprietary information, remains the sole property of the Seller unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

  1. Limitation of Liability
  • The Seller’s liability for any claims arising out of these Terms of Sale shall be limited to the total amount paid by the Customer for the affected order.
  • In no event shall the Seller be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the sale or use of the goods.
  1. Warranties
  • The Seller warrants that the products sold are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Any warranty claims must be submitted within 24 hours from the date of delivery.
  • No other warranties, express or implied, are made by the Seller, including but not limited to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
  1. Customer Obligations
  • The Customer agrees to provide accurate and complete information during the order process and to notify the Seller of any changes in their contact or billing details promptly.
  • The Customer is responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations related to the use, sale, and distribution of the products.
  1. Dispute Resolution
  • In the event of a dispute arising from these Terms of Sale, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the issue through informal negotiations.
  • If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Kitchen Specialist Association (KSA), of which RA Boards is a member.
  1. Governing Law
  • These Terms of Sale shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa without regard to its conflicts of law principles.
